Brianne Leeson is an artist, writer, and small business owner from Dallas, Texas. She’s also the creator of the scripted comedy podcast, Today’s Lucky Winner. She joins Mandi on the podcast to talk about a life-threatening illness she experienced in college. The experience left her grieving for the college experience she expected to have and disappointed in some of the support she received afterwards. She also talks about the trauma of not being taken seriously as a young woman in the hospital and what that did to her relationship with medical professionals.
